Membership Classifications
There are four types of Golf and Social memberships at Smoke Rise Country Club. Smoke Rise is currently the only club included in its Cluster. For more information on Smoke Rise, or to join Smoke Rise Country Club, click here to visit the Smoke Rise Country Club website .

Smoke Rise Social members are entitled to use the swimming pools, fitness facilities, clubhouses and all other Canongate amenities, except the golf courses. Social members are encouraged to participate in all club social events and dining activities. Social members may play a limited amount of golf as the invited guest of an Associate or Full member, but must pay the “regular guest green fee.”

Smoke Rise Sports members receive family access to tennis, swimming, fitness, dining and social activities at Smoke Rise and all of our other Canongate clubs. Sports members are also permitted to play golf at Smoke Rise once per calendar month at the guest rate without another member. Golf access for Sports members is available anytime Tuesday through Friday (excluding holidays) and during twilight hours on weekends and holidays.

Smoke Rise Associate Golf members have the use of all of our golf course facilities, including swimming, tennis, dining, fitness and most importantly -- golf! Associate members must pay a nominal “member green fee” when they play golf at any of our courses.

Smoke Rise Full Golf members have the use of all of our golf club facilities, including swimming, tennis, fitness, dining, and most importantly -- golf! Full Golf members are not required to pay any greens fee when they are golfing at Smoke Rise Country Club.

All membership categories include the primary member’s spouse and any children who are younger than the age of 25 and living at home. This means that the entire family has access to golf, pool, tennis and social privileges. If a member is unmarried, the membership shall include the individual and any children living at home under the age of 25.

* Each membership category is also charged a $30 food & beverage monthly service charge.

Tee Times at Smoke Rise Country Club
Smoke Rise Full and Associate Golf members can begin reserving weekend golf tee times at Smoke Rise on the preceding Tuesday. Weekday golf tee times can be made up to seven days in advance.

Golf Privileges at All Other Canongate Locations
All Full and Associate Golf members have seven-day-a-week access at all of our other Canongate golf clubs (making Canongate members the best in the greater Atlanta area) and reciprocal play is provided at an incredible value. The rate to play other Canongate golf clubs can be found by clicking on the link to the right. Weekend tee times can be made at other Canongate clubs on the preceding Thursday and weekday tee times can be made up to seven days in advance. Reciprocal play at River Forest and Healy Point is restricted on weekends and holidays before noon.

Unlimited Range Balls and Practice Area Use
Each of our golf clubs has a quality driving range, short game practice area and practice putting greens that are open whenever the club is. All new Golf members will be automatically enrolled in our annual driving range program. Sports members have the option of participating in the Range Program. The Range Program is not currently available for Smoke Rise Social members. This incredible practice program provides the entire family with unlimited access to range balls at all of our Atlanta golf courses for just $180 per year, plus tax. While entry is automatic, at certain clubs the program is optional for members who joined prior to 12/01/05.

Guests Fees
Members are welcome to bring guests to any of our Atlanta area golf clubs. The pre-tax guest fee at Smoke Rise Country Club is $55 on the weekdays and $60 on the weekends. Fees at other clubs can be viewed on the Guest Fee Rate Schedule . The number of golfing guests allowed per member may be subject to certain restrictions during high demand periods.

Locker and Bag Storage
Locker and Bag Storage services are available at the club for members only. These are optional services that are provided at a rate of $175 per year.

General
One of the great things about our Smoke Rise Country Club Golf and Social memberships is that members are not locked into a long-term commitment. Golf, Social and Sports members can easily exit the club if needed. After a one-year* membership commitment, the club simply requires a 30-day written notice for resignations. Members are responsible for applicable dues and charges during the 30-day notice period and no refund of any pre-paid fees, including dues, will be made if a member elects to resign.

Members can change membership classifications, but must stay at the new classification for at least one year before changing again. Upgrading to certain classifications may require payment of an entry fee.

Applications for membership will be reviewed by club management. No membership shall become effective until accepted by the club and all applicable fees and charges have been paid.
