Georgia National

Georgia National is one of the best-kept secrets within Georgia’s golf community! An extremely popular course among Canongate member residents of McDonough and surrounding communities, our members travel across the state to play this gem! Georgia National has hosted such prestigious events as the Women’s US Open Qualifier in 2009 and the Yamaha Atlanta Open and PGA Player Ability test in 2010.

Spectacular creeks and lakes accentuate this course, known for having some of the best greens in the Atlanta area. Georgia National offers golfers of all skill levels an enjoyable round with its four tee placements.

Georgia National is currently closed on Tuesdays. Walking is permitted after 3:00 PM on weekends/holidays.

Course is in good shape but the layout has something to be desired. Course is cut in a subdivision and houses are all along the course....man do I miss the desert courses sometimes. So far if you'er on the southside Whitewater is were to be.

Ga National is a excellent course. Me and my family are new members, I will recommend this course to all my friends.
