Heron Bay Golf Club

Heron Bay Golf Club is known among the Atlanta golf community for its superior course conditions and spectacular bunker placements.  Additionally, the course was built on the edge of the beautiful Cole Reservoir, providing excellent panoramic views year-round. Heron Bay opened in 2004 and was masterfully designed by acclaimed course architect Jeff Burton and plays more than 7,300 yards from the back tees.

Canongate Members who play Heron Bay truly appreciate the artful blending of the course into its surroundings, as well as the playability of the state of the art Tif Sport Bermuda fairways and bentgrass greens.

Heron Bay is currently closed on Mondays. Walking is permitted after 3:00 PM on weekends/holidays.

Heron Bay is my home course and I throughly enjoy playing there. I have been playing the course before the club house was even built and each year it gets just a little bit better. My only concern is the Golf Carts. The tires are bald and the running condition is poor on many of them. I have brought a number of guests to Heron Bay and to be honest the carts hurt our sale potential. Jim Carmichael
