Sun City Peachtree
Sun City Peachtree, located in Griffin, Georgia just off of Highway 92, is a newer addition to the Canongate portfolio of golf clubs. The course was designed by Gary Stephenson and was integrated into the Sun City Peachtree development by Del Webb, a community designed for active adults age 55 and above.
The 18-hole championship course features large bentgrass greens, generous fairways and plenty of beautiful vistas. The focus of the designers for Sun City was playability and a truly enjoyable golf experience, regardless of skill level. In addition to the beautiful golf course, members enjoy an expansive practice area with two practice putting greens.
Sun City is open seven days a week. Walking is permitted on low traffic days only.

Ron Weaver, 1/9/2013 8:06:26 AM EST CAUTION: KEEP YOUR EYES ON YOUR GOLF BAG WHEN AT SUN CITY GC. I was there on Saturday, 01/05/13. I went into the clubhouse at the turn, was in there about 10 min. My open golf bag was on my cart and parked behind the clubhouse. When I returned to the cart and went to #10 I noticed my putter was gone. It was an Odyssey White Hot putter with a label containing my name and telephone number on it. I reported it to the pro shop. Was told other clubs have been reported stolen there. WATCH/COVER YOUR BAG AT SUN CITY. The only thing that did not ruin the day completely, the course was in good shape.

Sun City should be the model for the rest of the Canongate cow pastures out there. Every canongate employee should be required to walk/play Sun City once every 6 months so they can see where their home club is lacking, and make improvements.
