Traditions
Just outside the quaint small town of Braselton, Georgia, Traditions of Braselton Golf Club showcases a rolling, tree-lined countryside that has been skillfully molded into a championship-caliber golf layout reminiscent of a traditional northeast links course. The course was designed by Arthur Hills protégé Mike Dasher, who has other Atlanta projects such as The Golf Club of Georgia and The Standard Club to his credit. The tees, fairways and roughs at Traditions feature Bermuda grass, with putting surfaces showcasing bentgrass greens.

Traditions of Braselton is an 18-hole, championship golf course that is included in the Hamilton Mill Cluster. Northside Canongate members enjoy the five tee placements at this course, making Traditions both playable and enjoyable, regardless of a golfer’s skill level.
Traditions is currently closed on Tuesdays. Walking is permitted after 2:00 PM on weekends/holidays.

Thomas, 6/16/2013 9:21:17 PM EST Great condition and bent grass greens. Nice!
Donald Livengood, 5/24/2013 4:10:30 PM EST Really fun course with a great staff. Not a course to play "for keeps" on your first outing. A bit tricked up in spots but still fun to play.
Donald Kolb, 4/20/2013 1:05:24 PM EST One of the Best Cannongate courses available in the northeast corridor. Course demands good control and rewards accurate shots.Excellent grounds people keep this course at a high level of playability.
Peter Bennie, 12/3/2012 8:02:14 AM EST This Course is Excellent. The greens are in beautiful condition. My guest and I found the course tricky without knowing the layout. A must play!!
Stephen Haupt, 11/11/2012 10:10:30 PM EST Oh yeah....if the hole is cut on the front of 18 just take a 2 putt and go to the clubhouse.
Stephen Haupt, 11/9/2012 11:43:31 PM EST Course is a must play if for no reason other than the greens. The layout is interesting as you need to know the course both off the tee and around the greens. A few holes appear lojg enough to hit driver but the smart play is a 3w or long iron as the fairway runs out.
Lenn Primm, 7/13/2012 11:52:12 AM EST Whole course is in very good condition. Good layout. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely worth the drive.
James Fields, 5/2/2012 4:22:19 PM EST I have played this course 3 times in the past month. They fairways had been aerated but are recovering nicely. The course overall is in great shape. I have fallen in love with it. I am grateful this is my home course now... Great lay out, challenging and enjoyable. Love it!!!
Mark Carroll, 4/11/2012 10:17:57 AM EST Played this course on 4/9 ---- in great shape - some really good holes and fun to play. Friendly staff - belong to Canongate I but like to drive around and see other courses. Will be back
Toni McCormick, 4/1/2012 9:09:16 AM EST Greens and fairways in perfect shape.
Thomas, 3/31/2012 11:06:21 PM EST Best kept course in NE. They pay attention to course and know what they are doing.
Steve Adams, 10/25/2011 9:21:03 PM EST The weather has been great and to go with one of the BEST kept courses in NE Georgia it doesnt get any better than Traditions of Braselton.....................
allen knight, 8/5/2011 3:17:30 PM EST terrible community
Donald Thomas, 8/4/2011 4:36:21 PM EST
Keith T, 7/12/2011 2:54:01 PM EST Not my home course, but when time allows, definately one of my most played. Love the layout, not a lot of homes, gas carts, so you always get back, great shape, great staff. Need to fix the Sunday beer issue, but until they do, weigh down the bag. Oh yes, NEVER packed. OA, Windemere and HM are always over crowded. Worth the ride for that alone.
allen knight, 7/1/2011 4:10:33 PM EST great community
Jose Riefkohl, 6/27/2011 12:43:03 PM EST Beautiful golf course. Everything is in great condition icluding, tee boxes, greens, faiways, bathrooms. They are doing a great job at this club.
Randy Henderson, 6/24/2011 8:17:19 PM EST Need to sell beer on Sunday-- They course layout is awesome and if you play according to left right concept you will enjoy. Never boring. The condition is superb.
Anonymous, 6/18/2011 5:25:50 PM EST I've played here a handful of times and the course is always in great condition. The staff is great also. This course has some really great holes but it's also a tight course so you have to bring your "A" game and hope it's not too windy. It's definately worth playing and on par with the rest of the canongate courses-I'm not sure what's up with some of the ratings below.
Tip: They can't sell beer on Sundays at this course-hint...hint.

S.H.L., 5/18/2011 8:09:01 PM EST tough course, greens will not hold short iron shots, great shape, some short par 5's, will come back again, now that I know the course.
Anonymous, 4/23/2011 10:59:42 AM EST Absolutely love it, play here all of the time!!

David Humer, 4/16/2011 12:07:06 PM EST Poorly laid out course. Many of the holes have been forced into available land among the houses. I would avoid this course unless having to play in a tournament.
Chad Rothschild, 4/14/2011 12:19:36 PM EST I really like the layout. The overall condition is usually good. The greens are typically good. Would definitely recommend.
Jason, 4/7/2011 3:24:58 PM EST Is in excellent condition.
